The north-east sky was alight with colour last night as hundreds attended Stonehaven fireworks display.
Families at the packed event didn’t let the rain dampen their spirits as they watched the display.
Hundreds of people saw the sky turn from pink to purple as they stood near the bonfire. There was plenty of entertainment for people of all ages, from the food to the fairground.
Youngsters enjoyed the dodgems and swings, as well as other classic rides.
The event kicked off at 6pm in the town’s Mineralwell Park and the annual display was organised by Stonehaven and District Round Table.
Entry into the event was £3 for adults and £1 for children and all of the money raised will go to local community groups and charities.
