A driver was taken to hospital with burns after a car fire on the A90 Aberdeen to Dundee road last night.
Emergency services were called at 8.10pm to the Fordoun junction northbound between Laurencekirk and Inverbervie where the car was alight.
Police and two fire engines attended.
A spokeswoman for the fire service said: “A car was alight on the verge of the A90 Aberdeen to Dundee road between Stonehaven and Laurencekirk at the Fordoun junction.
“One person was taken to Ninewells hospital in Dundee, suffering from burns.”
