A pan of meat was the cause of a blaze in Aberdeen early this morning after the unattended food caught fire. Fire crews from Aberdeen and Altens were called to the incident around 2.22am at a block of flats on Pentland Crescent, in the Torry area of the city. A man and a woman were checked over by Ambulance teams but refused treatment for smoke inhalation. Firefighters left the scene at 2.49am.
