Emergency services were called to the A947 near Fyvie shortly after 9am this morning. after a milk tanker crashed into a ditch.
A police spokeswoman said: “A lorry was on its side and blocking the road.
“The road is now closed due to the blockage and recovery of the vehicle is ongoing.
“We were called to reports of a one vehicle crash at 9.15am on the A947, south of Fyvie.”
Paramedics and the fire service were also on the scene.
No one was transported to hospital following the incident and a spokesman for the ambulance service said they “dispatched two ambulances and a trauma team to the scene” after receiving a call at 9.22am.
A spokeswoman for the fire service said they sent three appliances to the crash and left the scene at 10am.
