Major Aberdeen road closed after sudden death

A major Aberdeen road was closed this morning after the sudden death of a man.

Police were called to Gordon Brae, at Diamond Bridge, at 7.40am.

Traffic was diverted away from the incident before the bridge re-opened at around 9.30am.

A police spokeswoman said: “Officers were called to the Diamond Bridge area of Aberdeen following the sudden death of a man.

“There appear to be no suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
