Organisers of a Deeside town’s festive light switch-on are promising it will be “bigger and better than ever”.
Banchory will switch on its festive lights on November 29, and makes a return after a brief hiatus last year.
Organisers are promising attendees a variety of fun, with the Cairngorm reindeer delighting those young and old as they pull Santa’s sleigh at Bellfield from 4pm.
Additional entertainment includes the Towie Pipe Band, a Christmas disco, local singers and dancing performances.
There will also be face painting, balloon modelling and Banchory pantomime characters to entertain youngsters.
Guests can enjoy from food and drink stalls and the Banchory Round Table will be selling their Christmas trees.
The event is free and further information can be found at the Banchory Business Association Facebook Page.
