Officers are appealing for information after money was taken from a city centre arts cinema.
Police are appealing for information after money was stolen from the Belmont Filmhouse in Aberdeen.
The incident happened around 5.30pm on November 14.
The suspect is a man, described as white, tall and thin with light-brown hair.
He is said to have been wearing a bright orange high-vis jacket and carrying a black bag over his shoulder.
He was seen on CCTV walking in the Schoolhill and Belmont Street area at the time of the theft.
Constable Howls from the city centre problem solving team said: “We are keen to speak to people who were in the area at the time of the theft, and would urge anyone with any information to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 3839 of the 14th.
“Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously through the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
