Charities across Aberdeen were presented with pantomime tickets.
Sainsbury’s at Garthdee organised the donation and purchased 60 tickets to give away to seven charities.
Store manager, Greg Stewart said: “Last year, we gave all of the tickets to Befriend a Child. We decided to try and give out more this year and to smaller charities who are overlooked.
“We wanted to give kids from a disadvantaged background an opportunity they wouldn’t usually get because tickets are so expensive.”
The tickets are for Aladdin at Aberdeen Arts Centre on December 7 and 8.
The charities which benefited from the donation are Aberneccesities, Befriend a Child, The Archie Foundation, Archway Aberdeen, Gilcomston School, Skene Square School and Peerie Makkers (Wool for Ewe).
