It’s going to be a wet weekend as heavy rain is expected for parts of the Highlands and north-east.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning as persistent and heavy rainfall is likely to bring some disruption and potential flooding.
The alert will come into force at around 4pm on Saturday and last until 9am on Sunday.
A statement said: “Persistent and occasionally heavy rain is expected to develop across northeastern Scotland from Saturday afternoon.
“Rainfall accumulations of generally 20-40mm are likely through Aberdeenshire, Angus, parts of Tayside, Fife, Easter Ross and Caithness, with potentially 60-80mm across some high ground in addition to a gradual thaw of snow.
“Rain clearing to the north Sunday morning.”
