Police in Aberdeen have recovered class A and B drugs with an estimated street value of £37,000 at Aberdeen Ferry Terminal.
The heroin and cannabis was found during an intelligence-led operation, carried out by CID officers and the Police Scotland dog unit, on Sunday night.
It is understood the incident involved a ferry heading to Shetland.
Police said a 22-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with alleged drug supply offences. He is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
Inquiry officer John Hampton said: “”We rely on the support of the public to build intelligence on drug-related issues so that we can act on their concerns. I would urge anyone who is aware of any information about the supply of drugs to report the matter to police on 101, or anonymously through independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
