Motorists are advised a busy Aberdeen road has been shut following a serious crash.
Emergency services have been called to attend the incident on Powis Terrace.
Officers have closed the street between George Street and Belmont Road.
A spokesperson said: “We were called around 2.25pm to a report of a crash involving a car and a pedestrian in the Powis Terrace area of Aberdeen.
“One man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“Officers are currently at the scene carrying out an investigation and road closures are in place.”
A council spokeswoman said: “Due to the road traffic collision, Powis Terrace is now closed between Calsayseat Road and Berryden Road.
“Local diversions in place but please use an alternative route away from the area if possible.”
