Police are continuing to search for a missing man from Banchory, who was last seen a week ago.
David Strachan, 51, has been missing from the Wilson Road area of the Deeside community of Banchory since around 9pm on Tuesday, November 19.
Mr Strachan has been described as around 5ft 10ins tall, and with short, fair or blond hair.
When he was last seen, the missing man was wearing black jeans, a blue fleece, a black v-neck jumper and a red shirt. He has not been spotted since.
His family are concerned for his safety, and have appealed for anyone who may know where he is to make themselves known.
Sergeant Graeme Forbes, from Huntly police station, appealed for anyone with information about the whereabouts of Mr Strachan to contact the authorities as soon as possible.
He said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen David, or maybe knows where he is, to get in touch. His family are concerned for him.
“We would also ask that David call us or let his family know he is okay.”
Banchory woman Denise Sanders said on social media on Sunday: “It’s been a very tough four days for myself, for the families and David’s friends and this will continue each day until David is found.
“I just wanted to thank everyone for sharing all these posts, their continued support, for their constant prayers and thoughts for David.
“I know it means everything to my family.
“If anyone knows of his whereabouts, or even where you last saw him since Tuesday night then please I ask you, no beg you, to come forward and notify the police.”
This weekend, Tayside police said it was possible that Mr Strachan is in the Dundee or Perth areas.
Anyone with information about Mr Strachan has been urged to phone the police on 101 with the reference number 2,400, dated November 21, 2019.
