BBC Sport will bring its Festival of Sport to Aberdeen for the first time next month ahead of the arrival of BBC Sports Personality of the Year.
Football legend Denis Law, who is the only Scotsman to win the coveted Ballon d’Or, will be partaking in a question and answers discussion with the public as part of the event.
Joining him in the discussion will be cricket star Eoin Morgan and decorated Paralympian Tanni Grey-Thompson.
Mr Morgan will host cricket masterclass whilst Steve Cram and Allison Curbishley will share some of their commentary stories.
The festival will be held at Aberdeen Sports Village on December 13 and 14 to give youngsters and their families the chance to get involved in a range of activities such as athletics and snow sports.
For those who fancy themselves as a long distance runner, they can test themselves against the speed of marathon world-record holder Eliud Kipchoge in the Tumbleator, a 20ft treadmill.
The festival is set up to exclusively cater to local primary and secondary children on the first day then will be open to the general public the following day.
It is the first time the festival will be held in Aberdeen, and coincides with the arrival of the BBC Sports Personality of the Year awards which take place at P&J Live on December 15, presented by Gary Lineker, Clare Balding and Gabby Logan.
