Developers are ready to present their vision for a “major” housing and retail scheme in a grassy field in Lower Deeside.
The 11.5 hectare site on North Deeside Road, Milltimber, has been identified by Bancon Homes and Dr William Guild’s Managers as the site for the development.
Under the council’s local development plan, the site has been identified as suitable for 60 houses and 1,225 square metres of ancillary retail and office space.
The firms will present their plans to a special pre-application forum meeting next Thursday ahead of the submission of a formal planning application.
A first public consultation event took place in November at the Deeside Christian Fellowship Church at which members of the community were able to view display panels.
A follow-up event is proposed, also at the church in Milltimber, on Wednesday, December 4, from 2-7pm.
