Banffshire business owners have come together in a bid to boost food, drink and tourism in their area.
A group took part in the “Banffshire coast learning journey” – a fact-finding mission run by Aberdeenshire Council and development organisation Opportunity North East.
It showed off each business, increasing opportunities for traders to collaborate in the future.
Aberdeenshire Council’s regeneration and town centres manager, Christine Webster said: “It was important that businesses from our wonderful food and drink sector joined together to share experiences and develop a strong working relationship to drive forward tourism in the north-east.
“I would like to thank all our hosts for making themselves available throughout the day.”
The Macduff Marine Aquarium, the Smiddy, Summerhouse Drinks in Rosehearty and Macduff Distillery were all included.
Isabel Foy, food and drink tourism project manager with Opportunity North East, said: “We believe the personal relationships and understanding built on the day will help create exciting collaborations and draw visitors.”
