Police were called to the Ruthrieston Crescent area of the city at 5.35am this morning and “a man was found deceased”. UPDATE: Officers remain at the scene and have cordoned off the area around Oakhill Apartments while forensic teams work inside. Forensic teams working inside the Oakhill Apartments building. The death is currently being treated as unexplained. A statement from the force said: “Inquiries are at an early stage and one man has been arrested in connection with the incident. “Members of the public will notice an increased police presence in the area as a result of this incident.” Police on the scene at Ruthrieston Crescent. Residents where mostly unaware of the incident, however some did spot police forensic and CID teams arriving from a property on Ruthrieston Road. One gentleman, who did not want to be named, said: “This is a quiet area, I’ve never seen anything like this since I started living here.”
