A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged following an incident in Peterhead.
King Street was closed in the early hours of this morning after a vehicle collided with a wall. It is understood no one was seriously injured in the incident.
Aberdeenshire Council said a structural engineer has been called to investigate the damage to the wall and building.
A section of the road is expected to remain cordoned off until investigations are completed.
A police spokesman said: “We can confirm that a 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged in relation to various road traffic offences, following a single-car crash in the Kirk Street area of Peterhead.
“He is expected to appear in court at a later date.”
