An Aberdeen church will host a Christmas concert this evening to raise money for an international charity.
New Scottish Hymns Band will perform a series of acoustic carols and original songs at Gerrard Street Baptist Church in aid of Tearfund Scotland.
The charity works in 50 different countries to support people in extreme poverty.
Senior pastor Matthew Henderson said: “Tearfund is an excellent organisation which works hard to bring hope to communities and individuals in vulnerable areas across the world.
“The Christmas concert promises to be a great evening to get everyone feeling festive.”
The concert is one of a series being staged by Tearfund across Scotland, and follows a performance at Peterhead Baptist Church last night.
Doors open at the church at 6.30pm for a 7pm start.
