The Bay Fish & Chips and Caber Coffee have raised thousands to help a local enterprise. Aberdonians forked out £2,000 for the Original 106 Christmas appeal with all money being donated to Cfine. People queued for specially fried pigs in blankets and 400 portions of fish and chips, washed down with a cup of coffee. Dave Simmers, Cfine chief executive said: “The money raised through this amazing effort is way beyond anything I imagined. “Thanks very much to The Bay and Caber Coffee – and to all those who had a wonderful lunch thereby generating these funds. “This finance means that a number of our beneficiaries will have a better festive period. Thank you!” Original presenter, David Lewis said they were “astounded” by the turnout and thanked everyone who came.
