Mince pies, segways, go-karts and a pool party – these are just some of the treats which staff at a Banff sports centre are preparing for a fun-filled festive period.
Deveron Community and Sports Centre on Bellevue Road will have lots to offer for local residents including their cafe with treats such as mince pies and shortbread.
Or, for those who prefer more active Christmas celebrations, following on from the Halloween pool party’s success, there will be a Christmas version for young people.
In addition to the regular fitness classes, gym and public swim sessions, other special activities have been scheduled.
There will be ‘floats and fun’ sessions for kids in the pool, a Christmas party in the sports hall on December 23, and climbing wall sessions and a circuits class for those who are aged over 50.
On Monday December 30, Wheelie Fun will be at the Deveron Centre offering segway and go-kart rides with a Hogmanay party the following day for the whole community.
For the adults, with New Year approaching, there’s the chance to obtian deals on gym or nutritional programmes to make 2020 a healthier year.
