The alarm was raised with the Coastguard at around 2.30pm. Crew lost engine power and steering on the vessel around 22 miles off the north-east coast. A Coastguard spokeswoman said: “The Aberdeen RNLI lifeboat is on scene and will tow the vessel back to the harbour. “Communications are quite difficult so there is not a lot of information.” No one has been hurt.
