Aberdeen City Council is advising motorists to take alternative routes following the collision this afternoon on Lang Stracht.
A police spokeswoman said: “We are currently dealing with crash involving a pedestrian and a car at Lang Stracht in Aberdeen near to Lidl.
“Motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible.”
A statement by the council added: “Services are at the scene and the road is closed near Lidl.
“Drivers are advised to avoid the area if at all possible or use alternative routes via Anderson Road, King’s Gate and Queen’s Road.”
The extent of injuries are not yet known.
