As pre-match entertainment goes, it’s a little bit different to 30 primary school kids chasing a ball around a pitch.
World champion motorcyclist Dougie Lampkin has posted footage of his trip to Pittodrie ahead of the Dons’ match against St Mirren last year.
In addition to his many world, European and national successes, Lampkin has also become known for some breathtaking stunts, often working with Red Bull to take on abandoned or intriguing locations around the world.
Lampkin’s trip to Aberdeen is part of a drive from the Dons’ commercial director Rob Wicks to offer something different to fans.
Mr Wicks said previously: “We have had some strong feedback from supporters that they would like to see their matchday experience enhanced, and pre‐match entertainment certainly forms part of that.”
Check out the video of his trip below.

Aside from Lampkin’s pre-match show, there were a few heart-in-mouth moments from the Dons on the pitch.
St Mirren were poised for a share of the spoils when they were awarded a late penalty.
Fortunately for Aberdeen, captain Joe Lewis saved Tony Andreu’s spot-kick and the home side hung on for a 2-1 win.
