Restaurants in Aberdeen are being encouraged to take part in a showcase of the city’s food and drink offering.
Aberdeen Inspired’s restaurant week will return next month with the deadline for businesses looking to take part approaching on Monday.
More than 35 restaurants took part in the July edition of the event last year which was heralded a success in light of an uplift in the number of customers.
Rob Milne of Kirk View Cafe, which took part last year, said: “We were full all week with the event, it was very beneficial for us with a lot of new customers coming into the restaurant.”
The fifth Aberdeen Restaurant Week will run from Monday February 24 to Sunday March 1 and organisers are promising something new.
Senior project manager Kate Timperley said: “Foodies should watch this space as we will be introducing some exciting new elements to the event alongside the now established set price menus for lunch and dinner, designed to encourage visitors and residents alike to support our local businesses and try something new or revisit a firm favourite.
“Aberdeen’s restaurant offering is incredibly diverse, it boasts some of the country’s best chefs, as well as award-winning bars and eateries.”
