Two more thefts have taken place following a series of break-ins in Aberdeenshire and a road leading out of Aberdeen.
The pair of housebreaking incidents were reported on January 9, at Kirkburn in Laurencekirk, and on January 13 at Stonehaven Road in Aberdeen.
They followed on from four previously reported break-ins, between January 6 and 9, at properties on St James Place and Saphock Place in Inverurie, Pantoch Drive in Banchory and Kirkburn in Laurencekirk.
A number of items were stolen from each of the properties, including jewellery and thousands of pounds worth of cash.
Detective Inspector Grant Pert said: “These two new break-ins follow the previous pattern of taking place during daytime hours, and it being jewellery that is stolen.
“With that in mind, our current line of inquiry is that they are all linked.”
