Two women have been taken to hospital following a two-vehicle collision in Aberdeen.
Police closed North Anderson Drive and Ashgrove Road West around 1pm following the incident that involved a car and a van.
Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to free the pair from the car before Ambulance crews took them to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
According to police, the northbound lane of North Anderson Drive has reopened however it is thought Ashgrove Road West remains closed.

A spokeswoman said: “We received reports of a crash involving a car and a van in the North Anderson Drive area of Aberdeen around 1pm today.
“Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to free two people from the car.”

A statement from the Ambulance service said: “We received a call today at 1.02pm to attend a road traffic collision at the junction of North Anderson Drive and Ashgrove Road West in Aberdeen.
“We dispatched two ambulances, our special operations team, our trauma team, two managers and a paramedic response unit to the scene.
“We transported two female patients to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.”
It is unknown if the women have sustained any serious injuries.
Traffic delays
There is a significant build-up of traffic in the area and motorists are being asked to use alternative routes.
Public transport has also been affected with the Stagecoach 94 service from Aberdeen Royal Infirmary to Crematorium being delayed. The service will divert via Westburn Road until further notice.
