An Aberdeen community council is appealing for new members.
Tillydrone Community Council has put a call out for residents to get involved in its monthly meetings.
The online statement said the group are looking to “recruit new members” to “be the heart” of the area.
Councillor Ross Grant, who represents the ward, said: “I was proud to have been a member of the Tillydrone Community Council and to chair it for a few years before I was elected to the city council.
“Most recently the community council have spearheaded the work to improve the maintenance in Tillydrone, raising funds for the Christmas Lights on Hayton Road and Christmas celebrations at the community campus and Saint George’s Church.
“If you have a bit of time and are resident in Tillydrone, why not consider becoming a community councillor.”
Those interested should get in touch by e-mailing secretary.tillydrone@hotmail.com or visit the Tillydrone Community Hub at 6pm, every second Wednesday of the month.
