Whisky lovers will sample some of the best spirits in Scotland as the National Whisky Festival returns to Aberdeen’s Music Hall in September.
The announcement comes after a successful maiden voyage to the north-east last year were up to 30 exhibitors celebrated all things uisge-beatha with tastings, live music and whisky related crafts.
Distillers from all over Scotland and beyond will offer a number of different whiskies to try as part of the extensive three-and-a-half hour sessions taking place on Saturday September 5.

Pop-up food, craft stalls, specially-curated live music and tasting masterclasses will also be held by expert brand ambassadors.
Speaking to the Press and Journal at last year’s event, festival organiser Stacey Walton said: “The festival gives people a chance to try something new and meet the people behind the brands that they love.
