The 16-year-old, who was driving a motorbike, was involved in the collision with a car in Wellington Road. Emergency services were called to the scene, near the Lidl supermarket, at around 6.45pm. Police said the male motorcyclist was being treated by ambulance staff at the scene. A spokeswoman said his injuries were not believed to be serious or life-threatening.
