Image: DC Thomson. A tanker collided with a car near an Aberdeenshire petrol station this evening. Emergency services were called to the crash on the A96 Aberdeen to Inverness road, near the BP at Huntat the BP garage near Huntly at about 7.15pm. Nobody was injured in the crash, which involved a Renault Clio and tanker lorry. Three fire appliances – two from Huntly and one from Aberchrider – were called to the scene at 7.20pm. Two ambulance crews were also sent out to the crash, but nobody required medical assistance. A fire service spokeswoman said they were only required to make the scene safe. There were no road closures or delays as a result of the incident.
