STORM CIARA: Public access to north-east seafront closed

Public access to the seafront at Cowie has been closed off.

Along with the closure, sandbags have been placed near the promenade and Stonehaven town centre for public use.

Meanwhile in Aberdeen, the city council has warned residents and motorists that due to the stormy weather, Riverside Drive is likely to become flooded.

“The road is still open but our roads team are monitoring and the road may be closed later.”
