Roads and schools have been closed as the north and north-east braces itself for another day of weather-related disruption.
The A939 Cock Bridge to Tomintoul and the A93 at the Spittal of Glenshee have both been closed this morning.

Traffic Scotland also reported that the A9 and A95 have both been heavily affected by snow overnight.
In Moray, Tomintoul and Glenlivet primaries have been closed because of high winds and drifting snow, while in the Highlands, six schools and three nurseries have been closed as of 8am.
Last night, the Met Office warned motorists to expect difficult commuting conditions this morning.
There'll still be some #snow showers and icy stretches around in parts of the north for the morning commute.
Further south it will be mostly dry but with a touch of #frost.

A second storm is expected to bring heavy rain and strong winds to parts of the UK this weekend.
Storm Dennis could cause flooding and wind gusts of more than 60mph.
It is not predicted to be as severe as Storm Ciara, but is likely to cause disruption.
