Crews left from Peterhead Lifeboat Station at 3.27pm this afternoon after an personal locator beacon was received two miles east of Peterhead. The lifeboat, a rescue helicopter and neighbouring vessels were busy searching the area. After the search was complete, there was nothing found and all parties were stood down. The boat returned to berth just after 6pm.
