Charities and community groups across the north-east are being invited to submit applications for the latest round of the Unlock our Future fund.
It supports projects focused on environmental sustainability and has been provided by Vattenfall, which has committed to investing annually £150,000 to a community benefit scheme for the lifetime of the European Offshore Wind Deployment Centre.
The Panel chairman, Hamish Vernal, said: “We received many innovative and exiting proposals last year from communities finding new routes to a fossil-free future.
“The projects we funded are now making a difference on the ground in communities across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. ”
There will be an information session for help with applications at the Fraserburgh Community and Sports Centre on Tuesday, March 3, from 3-7pm.
Another information session will take place on March 4 at Transition Extreme Sports in Aberdeen, again from 3-7pm.
The deadline for applications is April 13.
