Brave men are being encouraged to take part in an inspiring fundraiser that has already raised more than £1 million for the fight against cancer.
Friends of Anchor is calling on individuals who have faced a cancer or haematology diagnosis to come forward to take part in their 2020 Brave event.
The male equivalent to the charity’s popular Courage on the Catwalk event is now in its fourth year.
The male models will be glammed-up and given professional training before strutting their stuff at the Beach Ballroom in front of loved ones, friends and charity supporters.
The deadline for applications is Monday, February 23 at 5pm.
The live shows will take place on May 7 and 8.
Friends of Anchor’s fundraising and development director, Sarah-Jane Hogg, said: “We often find that men don’t speak as openly about health issues they may be dealing with or have experienced in the past.
“One of our aims with Brave is to change that.
“This event provides a platform for men to forge new and lasting friendships with their fellow models and the bonds we see year after year are quite incredible.
“There is so much support and camaraderie between the gents.”
