A movie set in a north-east town has enjoyed a red carpet premiere at one of Scotland’s biggest film festivals.
Run, which was shot in Fraserburgh, had its first major public screening at the Glasgow Film Festival.
The movie, directed by Aberdeenshire writer Scott Graham, was inspired by Bruce Springsteen and is a tale of anguish and broken dreams along life’s highway.
Game of Thrones actor Mark Stanley plays Finnie, who finds himself working somewhere he’d never imagined – a fish factory in Fraserburgh.
His teenage son, played by Anders Hayward, has his whole life in front of him but his dad fears history might be repeating itself as his girlfriend is already pregnant.
Frustration and anger builds to boiling point during a night on the town.
The film will be released in UK cinemas on March 13.
The Glasgow Film Festival is one of the leading film festivals in the UK.
