A group aiming to hold a massive community event to replace a popular dance contest is appealing for sponsors to come forward.
Make It Happen will bring together more than 800 pupils from across the north-east to perform following the collapse of an annual UK wide dance competition.
Now the committee is calling out for more sponsors to support the event on June 12 at P&J Live.
A spokeswoman said: “The event planning committee has already received some fantastic local support from Aberdeenshire Council’s community safety and tackling poverty and inequality teams and would like to express their appreciation to all the support they have received so far.
“Community is at the heart of this event and so we, at Make It Happen, would like to invite local businesses to get involved in the initiative through sponsorship.”
The Natural Skincare Factory, Kingshill Studios, Maud Conversation Cafe and Keenans Recycling have already pledged their support.
