The sudden death of a man on an Aberdeenshire road is not being treated as suspicious by police.
Emergency services were called to the scene on the B994 Kintore to Kemnay road, shortly before 4pm on Sunday.
It is understood the pedestrian, who was 51, died as a result of medical issues.
Following inquiries the police have said the incident is not considered to be suspicious.
The road was closed for some time while the police and emergency services were in attendance.
A police spokeswoman said: “Emergency services were called to a report of a sudden death of a 51-year-old man on the B994 Kintore to Kemnay road at around 3.55pm on Sunday, March 8.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
