Two people have taken to hospital following a crash in Aberdeenshire.
Police were called to the scene on the A93 Aberdeen to Banchory road near Crathes at 8.05am.
The road is closed while emergency services deal with the incident involving a silver Vauxhall Insignia and a blue Audi A4.
Two ambulances and a special operations response team were also in attendance.
A police spokesman said there has been no serious injuries reported and the road will remain closed while the vehicles are recovered.
An ambulance spokeswoman said: “”We received a call at 0800 hours to attend a road traffic collision on the A93 at Crathes. Two ambulances and our special operations response team were dispatched to scene, one female and one male patient were transferred to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for further treatment.”
