A careers event has been organised for pupils in Peterhead.
Primary school pupils from across the town are being encouraged to attend the event to hear from businesses in various sectors such as finance, oil and gas and the prison service.
Aberdeen FC’s Communit Trust will also be in attendance, alongside Skills Development Scotland and NesCol.
The event, for primary sevens, will be held at Peterhead Academy on March 26.
Education committee chairwoman Gillian Owen said: “P7 pupils will be encouraged to engage in conversation with stall holders through pre-planned tasks.
“One of the primary aims of the event is to raise pupil awareness of the world of work and, in particular, increase their knowledge of the different careers available to them, to help them hit the ground running in future work and training opportunities.”
