One person has been hurt after a crash in Aberdeenshire this evening.
Emergency services were called to the B9119 Echt to Tarland road at around 5.50pm.
The two-vehicle collision, close to Echt, has left the road blocked.
Police have closed the route until both vehicles are towed out of the way.
The casualty is understood to have suffered only minor injuries.
Fire and ambulance were also called.
A police spokesman said: “Police were called at 17:48 to reports of a two-vehicle road traffic crash on the B9119 Echt to Tarland road near Echt.
“The road is currently blocked and both vehicles will be removed by suspended towing, so the road is currently closed.
“Fire and ambulance service was also called and it is believed there may be one minor casualty.”
