Firefighters had to rescue the casualty from his vehicle after it went down an embankment in Low Wood Road this afternoon. Two crews were sent to the scene, near Woodcot Brae, at around 4.30pm. The man was put in the care of paramedics and taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. A police spokeswoman said: “We received a report of a car having gone off the road on Low Wood Road in Stonehaven around 4.25pm on Sunday, March 15. “Emergency services attended and a man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary as a precaution.”
