Several sheep were spotted on the AWPR northbound near the Newmachar junction from around 6.25am. Drivers were forced to slow down to avoid the animals, before they were safely returned to their farm. A police spokesman said: “We began receiving calls from several drivers at 6.25am about some escaped sheep who were on the AWPR near Dyce. “By around 9am they had been returned to their farm. “The road wasn’t closed during this time, and there were no injuries to either sheep or drivers.”
