Cranford Care Home in Aberdeen has launched an appeal to the public to help keep their residents up-to-date with news from the outside world after closing its doors to mitigate risk.
The home is appealing for locals to e-mail in messages and photos of their activities.
Michelle Paterson, home manager at Cranford care home, said: “The safety and well-being of our residents is absolutely our top priority, so we have taken the decision that only family and medical professionals will be permitted to enter the home until further notice.
“Please let us know what you’ve been up to – hobbies, outings or celebrations – our residents love hearing about what local people are getting up. And it will help us to keep a foot in the community for when we lift our restrictions.”
To get involved, e-mail cranford.manager@larchwoodcare.co.uk with your messages and photos.
