Police are appealing for information after an early morning fire caused damage to a wooden fence and a log store in Banchory.
The blaze started after a garden hedge on Ramsay Road was deliberately set alight between 12.45am and 1.15am on Sunday March 22.
Firefighters were called to extinguished the flames. Police are now treating the incident as wilful.
Police Constable Adam Ingram said: “Fortunately no-one was injured as a result of this reckless act nevertheless we need the help of local people to help trace the person or persons responsible.
“I appeal to anyone who was in the vicinity of Ramsay Road at this time and may have witnessed suspicious activity to contact police”
