Emergency services were called to a north-east town yesterday after a car was set on fire.
The vehicle was set ablaze at about 3.20am with both fire crews and police dispatched to Aberdeen Road in Huntly.
The fire was extinguished and there were no injuries.
Constable Harvey Freeman said: “We’re appealing for anyone with information about the fire to come forward and help us with our inquiries.
“If you saw or heard anything suspicious in the area at the time then please let us know. I’d also like to ask anyone with potential CCTV footage of the area to get in touch.”
Anyone with information should contact police by calling 101.
