Latest figures show an increase of 13 new cases of coronavirus in the north of Scotland and a further seven deaths bringing the national total to 40.
The latest Covid-19 figures released by the Scottish Government confirm there have now been 52 positive tests in NHS Grampian’s area and 63 across the Highlands and Shetland.
Across Scotland there are now 1,245 confirmed cases, with the majority of those in the central belt, the largest daily increase.
More than 13,133 people have now been tested.
