Police are appealing for information after two men tried to damage a charity shop in Huntly.
The Bargain Box Charity Shop on Gordon Street was attacked by two men, possibly aged 17 and 21, around 4am on Monday.
The men used a hammer and threw stones at the front before running off in the direction of Torry Road.
Officers are checking CCTV footage from the surrounding area in a bid to locate the offenders.
A statement said: “Inquiries are ongoing following a report of a vandalism in Huntly.
“Around 4am on Monday March 30, police received a report that two males, possible aged between 17 and 21 years of age were walking along Gordon Street, once they reached the Bargain Box Charity Shop in Gordon Street they tried to smash the window using a hammer and throwing stones at it.
“They then ran off along Torry Road.”
