The chairman of a group dedicated to protecting the River Dee has stepped down after 15 years in the role.
The Dee Catchment Partnership is made up of a number of organisations including local authorities, fishery boards, Scottish Natural Hertiage and more.
It works year-round to preserve the ecology of the River Dee and the jobs it supports.
After 15 years at the helm, Major General John Barr has handed over the role of chairman to Martin Auld, the former regional director for the RSPB in eastern Scotland.
Mr Barr said: “It has been a privilege and a pleasure to chair the Dee Catchment Partnership, which has gone from strength to strength over the last 15 years.”
