The Sitting Room posted on their Facebook page asking customers who may have witnessed the theft to get in touch. A food order was stolen from their backdoor between 7.25am and 8am this morning. It consisted of 6kg of lamb, 10kg of chicken, a large selection of pies and a selection of cold meats. Part of the Facebook post read: “It saddens us to post this and look for your help. “Unfortunately someone has stolen an order from our back door this morning. “This would have been hard to carry and very noticeable anyone carrying this amount of stock or someone in a car.” Police confirmed that they received a report of theft from a premises at The Green, Portlethen.
